Hi Nikkie-

You might contact the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe. They have wonderful collections of textiles and related materials in their Neutrogena Collection.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] WPA sewing rooms
To: [log in to unmask]

We are working on an exhibit that showcases WPA programs and
the New Deal in Morgan County. One of the areas where we are having trouble
finding items is the sewing rooms.

We are hoping that someone out there may have some of the
patterns or garments used in these sewing rooms and would be willing to lend
them to us for a small exhibit.

Thank you for your help

Nikkie

The Fort Morgan Museum is the only AAM accredited museum on
the eastern plains of Colorado, stop in and see why.
