I think that with the diversity issues in museums - we are still struggling
with our reasons for being museums and reasons for being educational
institutions. The realities of serving many audiences and having the heart to
really want to serve those audiences still has many musueums struggling to
look good on grant requests without really doing something about the issues -
basic humanity, basic hospitality, sharing, getting to know people - past and
present.
And - I am not afraid to put forward that we are still looking at class wars
as a quiet and not-so-quiet reality.

Thoughts from others??
