I believe on furniture it is about the same. In the permanent collections I
have worked in the decorative arts sections did not seem to be any different
than the other rooms. I do not know what the detailed specs are though, but
the items were on shelves and the temp was not that different.

For mixed archival media, the recommendation is between 45 and 55 percent
humidity. I canšt speak with any authority on the requirements for
furniture, however.

Subject: Humidity

Hello!
Does anyone know what a reasonable level of humidity is in
climate-controlled archives? The contents consist mostly of wooden furniture
or paper documents. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
