Astronomy & World War II
This past-week marked the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of World War
II, although America did not enter the war until two years later,
following Japan's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This war
greatly affected science and technology, including the science of
Astronomy.
