  Danielle,

As an internship term project last semester, I wrote a paper that explored pros and cons of digital media in museums, focusing on ways that museums can use web sites in conjunction with exhibitions, programs and collections (separate from exhibition elements; i.e., not informatics). If you are interested, I can e-mail you a copy of the paper.
