Walk-in, pre-fab type refrigerator/freezer structures have been used
for a room within a room.  Bally was a manufacturer, but I'm not sure
they are still around.  Insulated panels were fastened together, as
many as necessary, along with doors, etc. Climate control equipment
had to be added, but they were well insulated.  The US National Park
Service used to use them.
