If your goal is to totally contain the wood to prevent or minimize
off-gassing, Marvelseal is a foil lining product that comes in large
rolls and applies to the wood with an iron. The seams may also be heat
sealed. Several conservators I've worked with over the years have
selected this material so seal the insides of plywood crates and wooden
cabinets. It isn't cheap but I recently purchased 4 large rolls from
Gaylord when they had an inventory clearance sale and that made it a
little better.

Subject: foil-backed shelf liner

I am looking for foil-backed shelf liners to use on some old wooden
display cases. So far I've only found one supplier in the US. If
anyone has additional sources, I'd appreciate the ability to do
comparison shipping.

Thanks.
