I have a question to ask of the listserv. Our board is currently going over all of our policies to ensure that they are up to date and meet ministry standards. One of our Board members insists that we have a Restoration Policy. I have never heard of a restoration policy. I intended to piece together the recommendations that the Ontario Heritage Foundation attach to buildings as well as the standards that National Historic Sites have to adhere to when considering restoration. I was wondering if any one else had put together such a policy. I have looked through the archives, on CoOl, CCI, UNESCO, ICOM, and can't find anything on such a policy. Is this a waste of time? If anyone has done such a policy please let me know, and if you could send a copy of it.
Thanks in advance.
