John Jay Homestead State Historic Site is seeking a Visitor Services Specialist.  Located in Katonah, NY the property is the retirement home of Founding Father John Jay.
Duties and Responsibilities:

1.            Overseeing all aspects of our visitor operations.  This includes:

  *   Visitor center
  *   Operation of the museum shop
  *   Family Discovery Centers
2.            Assist with management of historic house tours
3.            Deliver interpretive programs to student groups and adults
4.            Assist with historic research
Qualifications:
Two year customer service experience required, museum experience preferred.  Ability to work as a member of a team and an interest in history are a must.
14.67 per hour/ 30 hours a week/ 4 day per week.  Weekends required.  Some nights and holidays.
