Although I feel this particular discussion has gone on way to long, I
like having access to these somewhat-off-the-subject-of-museum-work
discussions, which I wouldn't have if they were off-line.  One of my
favorite things about professional conferences is getting to know my
colleagues between and after sessions.  Isn't that what this is?

I must admit, however, it was a relief to turn on my computer this
morning and find only 19 messages and most of them museum related.
