+++ Senior Sales Director +++

For our major Chelsea art gallery client we are seeking a Senior Sales
Director. The successful applicant will manage all aspects of the
gallery including: initiate and transact high-end sales of chiefly
secondary market Modernist and contemporary work; initiate
and oversee projects with contemporary artists; develop and
maintain existing client relations; develop and institute programming
and events schedule; participate in art fairs and related projects;
keep abreast of auction and other market-related activity;
oversee a staff of two Sales Associates, Registrar, Art Handler
and Receptionist; other duties as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years experience as a
Sales Associate/Director in a substantial and recognized art
gallery, with a proven sales record. BA and excellent
managerial, communications and interpersonal skills required.
Salary to $250K with benefits.
