Here in King County, WA there is the Association for King County Heritage
Organizations, or AKCHO. This association is made up mainly of small
historical museums and societies. Membership information available from

The Washington Museums Association may also be helpful for museum
professionals in Washington State. You can reach them at
www.washingtonstatemuseums.org.
