Custom House Maritime Museum started a 'Sea to Table' series of programs
this summer, pairing talks by local seafood farmers/fishermen with cooking
classes featuring a specific seafood.
http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1672528 They've been pretty
successful. So far, we've featured, scallops, 'Catch of the day' - fresh
fish, and clams, with oysters coming up next.
The museum is part of New London Maritime Society and is located on Long
Island Sound. I haven't seen another program quite like it.
Happy to answer any questions. --Susan
