I'd really like to see this type of material as well—please copy me if replying off-list.

Thanks,

Hi all,

I'm looking for a good classroom lesson and worksheets on archaeological dating I can do with the students in my summer course on ancient history and archaeology. The students are part of a gifted program ages 8-10 years old (grades 4 and 5) but can handle material on the middle school level. I can also modify more advanced lessons to their level.

I'd like something like this excellent lesson published by Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument - Molly's Mystery.

My only issue with it is that the material is historical and I'd like like something that qualifies as "ancient history" before 500 CE. It can be from anywhere in the world.

Thanks in advance!
