Due to a recent schedule change the American Craft
Museum has an opening in the traveling schedule
(Sept-Dec 2000)for the popular "Craft is a Verb"
exhibition.

Drawn from the permanent collection of the American
Craft Museum, this country's finest collection of
contemporary craft, "Craft is a Verb" displays the
creative range of craft though outstanding examples in
clay, glass, fiber, wood, metal, and mixed media.

This exhibition presents a significant overview of the
development of contemporary craft since the late
1950s...including the work of important artists like
Wendle Castle, Dale Chihuly, Jack Earl, June Schwarcz,
and Lenore Tawney.

The exhibition includes 80-100 objects and requires
about 3-4,000 square feet.

The regular cost for this exhibition is $12,000
(pro-rated shipping & insurance additional)...but I
would be willing to negotiate the cost.
