This year's annual Stateline Small Museums Conference (SSMC) will be held at Highland Community College in Freeport, IL on Friday, May 18th, 2018. The conference will offer four concurrent sessions in two tracks, collections care and administration. Sessions cover volunteering, fundraising, collections care, the importance of strategic planning, and more!

The target audience is the staff and volunteers (including board members) of small museums, historical societies, and sites in need of low-cost professional development in all areas of museum operations.
