It would be great if writers would identify their institution by its full
name or its abbreviated one.

Just a new example of the problem some of us face:  A solid comment about
volunteer coordination from E. Moore, identified as being at VMNH, leaves
no clues.  Vermont Museum of Natural History?????  Valdosta Museum of
Native Heritage????
