Hi Larry,
Have you checked Wikimedia Commons? It's a great source of images that are
either in the public domain or licensed through Creative Commons, both great
ways of getting free images so long as you follow the terms of the licensing
in the case of CC (usually including attribution and/or share & share alike
provisions-- there is a good description on the site). Good luck!
