As a science teacher with 10 years of museum
exhibition experience, accessibility is an issue for
us even without socio economics involved. Our internet
is unreliable in our classrooms. There are filters to
protect the children in place and they block so many
things, it's hard to get pages to load. Plus, I only
have one computer and it's on my desk. I would love to
use videos posted online or have my students check out
info online. A lot of materials I've seen from museums
or government agency websites have beautiful materials
to download and print out but we don't have color
printers or color xerox machines so they lose a lot of
their "wow" factor.

Sorry just thinking out loud,
Lisa
