The Registrars Committee sponsored a session at the 1998 AAM Meeting on just
this topic:  Care of Collections in Non-Traditional Spaces.  It was chaired
by Julie Haifley at the National Museum of African Art.  There was also a
great deal of discussion about this about a year ago on this list and should
be available through the archives.
