The Registrars Committee of the AAM and the American Institute for
Conservation have had a joint committee working on this issue for the last
three years. There are a number of excellent publications available:
- Terry Segal's chapter in the New Museum Registration Methods
- a two-part pamphlet written by Marianna Munyer, available from the
Illinois Association of Museums (c/o Mary Turner, Old State Capitol,
Springfield IL 62701)
- two workshop handbooks (one from the Midwest Museum Conference prepared by
Terry Segal, the other from the RC-AAM 1997 pre-conference prepared by
Marianna Munyer), both available from RC-AAM Reprints Coordinator Bill
Tompkins ($5 each): 202 357-3125

Additional publications will be forthcoming.
