The CBC has just reported that a Robert Nanteuil portrait in the Louvre
was cut from its frame yesterday afternoon. Noone noticed anything wrong
until a visitor mentioned that "something was missing".  All those in the
building - about 30,000 visitors - were searched before they were allowed
to leave!
