Tue. Morning Fireball Over Pittsburgh Seen in Several States
Early Tuesday morning (Feb. 17), a bright fireballwas observed by many people in the Pittsburgh area, and throughoutmuch of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and New York. The American Meteor Society estimates, fromwitness reports, that the fireball trajectory did take it overClarion County and northern Armstrong County in Western Pennsylvania, northeast of Pittsburgh.
