I think Lucite is a brand name, and the generic name is acrylic. If so, there are lots of suppliers of acrylic rods. They come in square or round sections, sheets, hexagons, you name it (almost). Try: http://www.piedmontplastics.com/ or maybe http://www.lairdplastics.com/ . There are a bunch of others, too.
