There are plenty of smaller cities (especially in the Midwest) where the
cost of living is low and the pond is small enough that a good intern
will have no problem getting a job after the internship is over.  Since
a commitment to the museum profession means that you'll move around a
lot anyway, it doesn't matter where you start, right?
