Position: Collections Management Assistant

 

Department: Collections

 

Historic Mount Vernon seeks a Collections Management Assistant to join
the team responsible for the care and handling of artifacts, collections
management tasks, cataloguing, and cleaning & monitoring exhibition
spaces. 

 

*	BA degree required, MA preferred
*	Previous museum experience and knowledge of museum practices and
procedures preferred
*	Good organizational, communication and computer skills required

 

Standard work schedule for this position: Sunday through Thursday 6am -
3pm April thru August, otherwise 7am - 4pm.
