IIKM is an educational project ensuring international standard and quality.
lt is launched by
Indian Library, Information Science & Knowledge Management Association (ILISKMA).

IIKM is situated in the home town of Dr. KR Narayanan,
the Hon. former President of India, at Uzhavoor,
a village blessed by nature with greenery
in one of the southern states of India
The courses planning to offer in IIKM
from June 2003 are at Graduate (BLIS) Post-Graduate (MLIS/ MBA) and Doctorate (PhD)
levels on various subjects related to
Library Administration and Management, Information Technology & Management,
Institutional Administration and Management, Knowledge Management ,
Public Administration, Social Development and Planning,
Applied Economics, Literacy Management, Education Planning,
Information Retrieval System Management, Mass Communication and Journalism, etc.
The syllabus and curriculum are of at international standard
ensuring that it is matching with the global requirement of the age.
To accomplish the goal of international quality,
we invite all possible tie-up with your Library / School / University.
The area to be considered are:-
1. Sponsored students from countries other than India
2. Exchange of Visiting Faculty
3. Admission for higher Courses to our students in
your school or University.
4. Scope for Institutional Training to IIKM Students
in your institution / Library.
5. Other possible tie up like exchange of students.
