The University Art Galleries Department at Texas A&M University is seeking a Program Assistant (Collections Cataloger) for the Forsyth Galleries. The Cataloger will work under the direction of the Collections Manager and will categorize and describe the fine art and decorative art objects in the Forsyth Galleries' collections. The Cataloger will create new information for entry into the museum's collections management database and will also help to determine what existing collections documentation should be retained. The Cataloger will also help to develop departmental cataloging procedures and policies. The position is a temporary, one-year position with the possibility of a one year extension.
