Chemistry. I am fine arts curator in a college art gallery. I also did
a museum studies graduate degree. One of the other gals went in to
conservation and did further advance degrees in conservation if my
memory serves me well, at University of Delaware. She always told me
that it was her chemistry that got her into the program.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
I have a general question. I am a student In the Museum Studies
program, but I am very interested in conservation. I have not had a
lot of
experience with science courses and I was wondering if anyone could
give me some advice as to what courses are the most beneficial in
helping me prepare to go into this field of study. Any suggestions
would
be most helpful. Thanks.
