Assistant Curator


 

Historic Mount Vernon has re-opened its search for an experienced
candidate who will work with the Senior Curator and collections staff to
research, preserve, and enhance the collection, develop furnishing
plans, respond to internal and external inquiries and participate in the
development of exhibitions.  Master of Arts degree in art history,
American history, material culture or museum studies required.  Advanced
studies in American decorative arts preferred.  Excellent communication
skills, flexibility and reliability required.  By June 1, 2007 please
