Hi there...I'm not museum pro..wanna be...but not yet so keep in mind I'm a
novice.

Go to let local book store and find a magazine called Tuff Stuff.  It's a
sportscard collectors monthly price guide.  You'll find a dozen or so ads for
holders of footballs, baseballs, hockey pucks, and anything else.  You could
also contact a local sports memorabilia shop, they should have an industry
standard solution and will probably be willing to sell you the display case as
well.
