Have you decided on your freezer yet? Sorry this is a late reply to your
query but at Ipswich Museum I have decided to purchase a 3.3metre square
freezer room which is 2.8 m high. Min temp is -32.C. Cost is £7000, I had
been quoted £13000. Quite a saving and I'm wondering what the catch is. Have
you any scare stories?

Ours is a 14 cu. ft. Fridgidaire purchased from Lowe's. It is a
standard residential chest unit. I think we paid less than $150 for
it. We have actaully been able to put a couple of small Victorian
tables and a swing churn in it (not all at the same time of course).

We are looking at getting a freezer for pest management use. I have
searched the archives and found very little information. Can anyone
tell me what size or brands you have purchased for use in your
museum?
