Have you decided on your freezer yet? Sorry this is a late reply to your query but at Ipswich Museum I have decided to purchase a 3.3metre square freezer room which is 2.8 m high. Min temp is -32.C. Cost is £7000, I had been quoted £13000. Quite a saving and I'm wondering what the catch is. Have you any scare stories? -----Original Message----- From: Robert Entwistle Sent: 07 July 2003 16:39 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: RE: (Fwd) Re: Freezers -----Original Message----- From: [log in to unmask] [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: 23 June 2003 19:05 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: (Fwd) Re: Freezers ------- Forwarded message follows ------- Date sent: Mon, 23 Jun 2003 09:22:36 -0500 Send reply to: Museum discussion list <MUSEUM- [log in to unmask]> From: Lana Newhart <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Re: Freezers To: [log in to unmask] Ours is a 14 cu. ft. Fridgidaire purchased from Lowe's. It is a standard residential chest unit. I think we paid less than $150 for it. We have actaully been able to put a couple of small Victorian tables and a swing churn in it (not all at the same time of course). I have searched the archives and found very little information. Can anyone tell me what size or brands you have purchased for use in your museum?
