Could we bypass the vituperativeness on this
discussion and just agree that a majority of us would
prefer to have subject lines but, understanding that
we're all supposed to be human (I include that caveat
after some of the responses I've read that make me
wonder sometimes if there aren't "Gods" on this list),
and we sometimes make mistakes, we will agree to try
to be gracious and forgive one another understanding
that most of us will try at all times to comply?

Goodness sakes, I can clearly think of a lot more
things going on in the world at present to put my
knickers in a twist other than a subject line.

It is an inconvenience to get several notes without
subject lines. If the first person to respond catches
the fact that there's no subject line and inserts one,
all subsequent posts will be with a subject line.

I'm more concerned about the God-awful spammers who
keep sending porno after harvesting emails from this
list, and that dastardly little demon (a pox on him
and all like him) who tried to send me a virus
yesterday. I know this illegitimate child of a female
dog specifically chose this list to do it to because
it came complete with a note that said The board had
approved yada yada.

Oh, and whomever you are that keeps sending me such
nuisances, I repeat, I do not read Taiwanese, Korean,
or whatever that language is you keep sending.

It's also rather foolish to send a virus to somebody
with a Yahoo address. Yahoo keeps its virus
protections fairly up to date.

The world is not in peace. Can we resolve to try to
have a little here?
