Here's one in your own backyard. The Thomas Stone National Historic Site (another signer of the Declaration of Independence from Maryland) in Port Tobacco interprets the illness of Stone's wife, Margaret. This interpretation is part of the larger interpretation of how her illness affected his life and career. I am a part time park guide there, but the other rangers there will be very helpful I'm sure. It's also worth a visit.
