Dear Colleagues,

The Dallas Museum of Art is accepting applications for the 2019-2020 McDermott Internship, a paid internship that provides those with undergraduate or graduate degrees in art, art history, museum studies, and related fields the opportunity to explore a museum career. Nine internship positions are available, five within the Curatorial Department, three within Education, and one within Interpretation.

Interns spend nine months working closely with staff in their areas and those across the Museum on a variety of exhibitions and programs. Interns are also provided opportunities for cultural enrichment outside the Museum with local performances, museum visits, and collection tours, as well as the opportunity to request $500 toward qualified professional development.

Please feel free to forward this email and encourage any interested individuals to apply through our application forms linked on the DMA's Internship page at dma.org/internships<http://www.dma.org/internships>. Complete details and descriptions of each position are linked there. Note that the application deadline is March 22, 2019.

In addition, the DMA is also accepting applications for summer opportunities, which include the paid C3 Summer Internship<https://www.dma.org/about/internships/#c3> and the unpaid Summer Art Camp Internships<https://www.dma.org/about/internships/#camp>. Please refer to our website for details on all of our open internship positions.

Thank you so much and please feel free to contact me with any questions, as I am always happy to help.

Regards,
Sarah
