You might want to define Cultural from Heritage Tourism. Cultural tourism
deals with
special events, art, etc., and has a different clientel. They fly more to
their destinations,
stay less, etc. While a heritage tourist travels in their automobile, goes
off the beaten
path..and visits museums. They spend more time...and in the end more money
because
of longer stays.

There is also ecotourism, environmental tourism, and many other kinds, that
tie into
museums and such.

Putting together packages for travels would be working in the travel
industry....check
out travel bus lines, ship companies, train, etc. Public relations companies
also
may be a possibility. What about city governments...working with heritage
association,
Visitor and Convention Bureaus, Travel Commisions (local, state and federal),
there are
many opportunities. Colleges and even corporations also may have positions
opened
for a person interested in tourism.....arranging travel for employees and
students.

Oh, don't forget Chamber of Commerce, fair grounds, convention centers, etc.

There is also AAA auto clubs. Just depends on what you are totally
interested in doing.

past member of a Chamber of Commerce tourism board, and world traveler
