Michele,
There's a controversial exhibit in Berlin right now concerning the
possible roles ordinary soldiers had in genicide during WWII. The title
is "The Crimes of the Wehrmacht 1941-1944" and was first shown a couple
years ago, but was closed due to factual errors. Now it's been revised
and re-presented at the Kunst-Werke Institute for Contemporary Art in
Germany and has garnered a lot of controversy, protests, and high
visitorship. You can listen to an NPR segment about it at
http://search.npr.org/cf/cmn/cmnpd01fm.cfm?PrgDate=12%2F9%2F2001&PrgID=6
Scroll down to "War Exhibit."
I hope this is helpful in some way. Good luck.
Amber

istory Museums , Any suggestions? Thanks Michele

Ps., I do have lots of information relating to the Enola Gay, Sensation,
the
Flag Controversy, 19th Century Landscape paintings of the American west
,
the re-creation of a slave auction at Williamsburg, But I am sure there
are
other less well-known cases out there as well. Thanks again for you
