What axes do you have? I am the assistant curator at the Davistown Museum in Liberty, Maine; the Davistown Museum possesses a number 18th and 19th C. American broad axes from New England. I find that since axes are durable, they can be displayed in a variety of ways. However, I believe exhibitng them on the walls works best.
