I agree; the challenge is in the "looking". I agree that photo workshops are
a great inducement to sustain kids interest. In the past I have had kids act
out scenes, photograph themselves, then montage their photo into the
historical photo. However here I am looking for ways to get kids to look
critically, and with interest, at historical photos in a museum exhibit. I
know it's too easy to tune them out! If any one has had success in this area,
I'm sure many of us in museum education would be interested in hearing from
you!
