Greetings. We have a number of large model ships that are on exhibit. Currently, we have easels holding interpretive panels for the ships. We are looking for something a bit nicer than easels, perhaps something that won't have as large a footprint. Because we have numerous evening events, we have to take the ships and signs off of the floor. As such, we are looking for something that is self-contained (onto which we can affix a permanent label) and portable. I once worked at a Museum that had metal signs that were shaped like an "L," except that the upper portion was bent backwards at a 45 degree angle so that labels could be affixed, but I am not necessarily wedded to that design. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should be looking for or where I should go? Or perhaps you have a better idea altogether. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
