Just keep in mind that TMS was built with art museums in mind. We use it, but have had to make tweaks here and there to make it work for a history museum.

Don't you like to write letters. I do because it's such a swell way to keep from working and yet you feel you've done something.

Have you considered TMS by Gallery Systems? http://www.gallerysystems.com/products/tms.html I tried their demo version and it is perfect for smaller collections. If you think something like Past Perfect may be overkill, try TMS Light.

I am working at a small museum that is focused on local history, biographical history and politics related. We are in the process of purchasing collections management software.

I am looking for any advice and your personal views and experiences of the products 'PastPerfect' and 'CollectiveAccess'.

Thank you
