Does anyone produce interpretive living history video documentaries? I
know of only a few. There is a short, but exceptional one on the Mormon
settlement at Nauvoo, Illinois, and an older (1970s) film-on-video about
Bent's Fort. The 125th anniversary of the American Civil War was the
catalyst for an outstanding series using footage of the commemorative Civil
War battle reenactments during the late 1980s. It seems that more
institutions and production companies would have jumped on the video
bandwagon by now, especially since there are videos on everything else.

Please reply,
HBC
