*WHAT*
Attack of the Podcasters: A Hands-on Workshop on Creating Podcasts
(or recording and editing any audio) for your Historic Site or Small Museum
Want to learn how to record and edit audio for your small museum or
historic site? Podcasting, which is just one application of recording and
editing audio, is an inexpensive and easy (really…trust us) way for you to
get involved with new media as a way to reach your visitors. A podcast is a
digital audio or video file or recording, usually part of a themed series,
that can be downloaded from a Web site to a media player or computer.
The skills you learn here will teach you how to record any audio for a
variety of purposes such as tours, narrated Power Points, exhibition audio
clips, podcasts, and more!
