Historic Brashear Telescope Factory Wall Collapses
A wall, close to Pittsburgh's Perrysville Avenue, of the original factory building used byfamous telescope-maker John A. Brashear, in the latter part of thenineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century,collapsed onto a nearby, two-floorapartment building March 16 at about 10:20 p.m., necessitating theevacuation of the apartment building.
