Good morning, Museum L readers.
We removed a high school letter jacket from a display case and during
removal found silver fish in the case. That would be live silver fish. The
jacket has leather sleeves, wool body and a man made lining, collar and
cuffs. It's currently wrapped and duct taped in plastic and separated from
the rest of the collection. Can a garment like this be frozen to kill
potential silver fish or is there another approach?
Thanks,
Joan H Baldwin
