Archivist, Exhibition Planning and Development
Archives & Collections
Studio Operations

The Archivist, Exhibition Planning and Development is responsible for 
managing our internal and external exhibitions, screenings, and loan 
program.  This person will work directly with the other Archivists to 
develop new exhibitions for internal venues, such as the Theme Park, as 
well as external venues.  Management of the exhibitions includes the proper 
packing of the materials, shipment arrangements, dressing of exhibition, 
quality control of environment, and return receipt and condition 
reporting.  Will be in charge of our external/internal loans of objects for 
short-term exhibition, and will run our monthly classic movie screenings.  

Requirements:
· Bachelor degree in Museum Studies, Archival Administration or equivalent. 
Masters Degree preferred. 
· Three to five years experience managing collections with experience in 
exhibition management. Knowledge of the entertainment industry preferred. 
· Experience using word processing spreadsheet, database and digital 
imaging software with the ability to make recommendations on future 
software needs as it relates to exhibitions. 
· Manual dexterity to handle fragile collections and the ability to lift 40-
pound boxes required. 
· Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills. 
· Good communication and writing skills. 
· Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
