Archive Trainee
Archives & Collections
Studio Operations

You will be responsible for the sorting, researching, cataloguing, and 
processing of objects, paper records, photographs, etc. from NBC 
Universal’s archives collection, the collection, including original 
artwork, props, wardrobe, company documents, set pieces, and architectural 
drawings.

Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree, preferable in history, humanities or arts, or at least 1-
2 years previous work experience in a corporate archive, library, museum or 
art gallery setting. 
· Experience in a registrar’s department or collections management highly 
desired. 
· Previous experience in handling fragile objects and documents preferred. 
· Knowledge in the history of film and the entertainment industry 
preferred. 
· Computer literacy with experience in Outlook, Word, Excel and database 
management systems. 
· Must have good organization and writing skills. 
· Must be self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to 
conceptualize, draw conclusions and make decisions based on information 
provided. 
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
