Dear colleagues,

The American Alliance of Museums (AAM), in collaboration with the Coalition to Advance Learning in Archives, Libraries and Museums is planning a three-part webinar series on accessibility, Stories of Inclusion: Inclusive Practices at Cultural Institutions<http://www.aam-us.org/resources/online-programs/stories-of-inclusion-inclusive-practices-at-cultural-institutions>, scheduled for October 7, 14 and 28, 2015. We'd like to invite you to be a local host for one or more webinar "watch and talk" events in conjunction with this series. There is no cost to host institutions and no cost to attend a local "watch and talk" event.

In this series, advocates and experts explore issues of accessibility and inclusion from the perspective of visitors, staff and facility or program users in museums, libraries, archives and other cultural institutions. Presenters and special guests in each webinar highlight case studies and examples of inclusive practice, addressing and responding to the first-hand stories of visitors with disabilities.

  * October 7: ADA at 25 and Universal Design at Cultural Institutions
  * October 14: Responding to Visitors who are Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, Blind or with Low Vision
  * October 28: Responding to Visitors with Cognitive, Developmental and Emotional Disabilities
We’d like you to be one of those hosts for a no-cost learning and networking opportunity for your colleagues in your community. There is no cost to you as a host or for your attendees. Each event consists of:

  *   30 minutes of pre-webinar check-in and networking
  *   90-minute live webinar
  * 60 minutes of post-webinar facilitated discussion or activity
More information and Host RSVP form is available here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1c_u0d22COnR1s6Z7r8PBmbHzrfrH-zc9G_YVNh6cBFg/viewform. Please respond by September 18 so we and you have time to promote your event locally.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact Greg Stevens, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>

This series is supported by the Coalition to Advance Learning in Archives, Libraries and Museums.<http://coalitiontoadvancelearning.org/> This program is made possible through the generous support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).<http://www.imls.gov/>

We look forward to your participation!
