Another one of those peices of information that will stop all conversation at a cocktail party. We had a feline rodent control officer at the historic fort I worked at, and figured the combination of her and her used litter was what worked. Evidently Georgie was a better mouser than we gave her credit for. Also, she did get into the rat poison about 6 months before she died. It wasn't pleasant.

Actually, researchers found that cat urine is a mouse aphrodisiac and may actually raise mouse populations. http://www.livescience.com/animals/080509-cat-odor.html?Creepy, I know. Just file it under eeewwwh.
